This hotel is located 150 metres above sea level and offers panoramic views of the whole northern coast of Tenerife, over the Atlantic Ocean, in the main tourist area of the northern part of the island. The coast of the “Valle de la Orotava”, at the bottom of the Teide, has a mild climate all year round.
The Puerto de la Cruz, a pioneer and leader of tourism in the Canary Islands, was declared "Of tourist interest" in 1955. It is a cosmopolitan city with wonderful spa installations such as the Costa de Martiánez pool complex with its enormous artificial lake, work of the artist Cesar Manrique who is from Lanzarote.
Its famous festivals are the Carnivals in winter, and the patron festivals, which are held in July.

AREAS OF TOURIST INTEREST
The multicoloured and picturesque Puerto de la Cruz, has a uncommon appeal, with areas such as San Telmo, the Plaza del Charco, the fishing dock and the whole district of La Ranilla, San Amaro and la Paz, the Taoro park - where the luxurious Taoro Casino can be found -, and the Botanic Gardens created in 1788 which contain trees and plants from all five continents.
The Teide, which is the highest mountain in Spain, is at the centre of a large National Park and is an ideal place for observing the stars.
The Loro Park is truly a paradise with a total surface area of twelve hectares that contains the largest collection of parrots in the world. The Puerto de la Cruz port has one of the most prestigious casinos in Spain, the Taoro Casino, located in the park of the same name and from which one can enjoy a splendid panoramic view of the city and the Valle de la Orotava (valley).
There are various churches and hermitages which are worth visiting, such as Nuestra Señora de la Peña de Francia, as well as the Castillo de San Felipe (castle) and the Casa de la Aduana (Customs house).
